it's not real

My colleague protested that time exposures of waterfalls are just not real
and I agree... to a point
they sure are pretty though!
Consider this: anything that moves faster than 1/7th of a second is not visible to our own eyes. At normal exposure, this waterfall would still look like a 'steady stream' but if we photographed it with a fast enough shutter, we would see individual droplets falling down.
Whether at normal speed, fast shutter, or slow shutter like this photo, we continue to see more of the beauty God has created. It makes me wonder what other dimensions there are that will be revealed to us in the years ahead as God gives men new ideas and inventions to discover them. It reminds me again that just as we will never know everything about our own world this side of Heaven, what new things will God give us in Heaven to explore and to wonder and to enjoy and to praise Him for?
This photo is of Molly Springs - we raced out there on completion of our work day and got a full 20 minute swim in before nightfall. It was well worth the effort!
