Today we heard that Brian Walker's dad died of a heart attack the day after they headed to the mainland from Tasmania on their first leg of their trip to Kununurra.
Brian and Katrina lost their son in a motorbike accident in February this year.
Please pray for them as they again go home to bury a loved one. Please pray that God will hold them up and comfort them, and that they will continue to look to Him in all things.
Greg and Linda Wilson and their children arrived safely this week. The Wilsons have served at HCJB Kununurra for 6 years already and are here to hand over and to pack for wherever our Lord sends them. They are praying for direction as they consider overseas mission work. Please pray for them that they will rightly discern God's will and direction.
Steve and Cathy Sutherland and their children will be arriving in late May to oversee the erecting of the new towers. Steve was in charge of the transmission station in Quito, Equador and has been over there recently to oversee it's closure due to the change in flight paths of the Quito airport. HCJB global is focussing on their medical work (global hands) and their FM radio training and facilities in local communities in South America, West Africa, Papua New Guinea, India, Indonesia and others. Much of the materials used and the towers themselves have come from Equador. Please pray for Steve that he will see God's hand in the changes and rejoice. Please pray for the Sutherlands' safe journey and for more financial support to sustain them in the Aussie economy.
And as always, please pray that many would tune in and hear the Gospel and respond.
