Too wordy

Now that this blog has been well established and I have given an overview of the work, I thought it might be better to give updates as big events occur, but not talk about days where the same jobs are just ticking along.

On Friday, two brave men - Peter and Chris - climbed a 40m tower and repaired a stay on an element. Above are the photos taken from my mobile phone. The method of getting them up there is nerve racking and unique - using a vehicle and pulleys to assist their ascent. I was the driver and can't believe how much they trusted me.
We do thank God for giving them success and safety.
We have a long list of jobs to get through this year. Some of them I will be involved in, others will be done by the next wave of volunteers. The work here is broad in scope and never boring! There seems to be something for everyone and every trade. I am able to turn my hand to most tasks, but I am master of none. It is so exciting to be around people who have made these different disciplines their careers and to learn from them how to do those jobs professionally.
I am sure that everything we do here and learn here will equip us better to serve our church and community back home
Missing you all
Don

I am glad you started bloging - it all looks great and will be easier for us all to keep in touch with you and see and hear how you are going. Your blogspot address was included in the church bulleting this morning for everyone to see. It is also good to see you have found a great church to fellowship at.

I forgot to say Don that I am still waiting for the photo taken by you from the top of the tallest tower showing just how high it is. No cheating with "photoshop".
