Above are some pics of the work we have been carrying out at the new site whenever the weather holds long enough for the ground to firm up.
Today we finished dismantling the last sections and moved them onto the side of the entrance track so they can be either refurbed or fully dismantled at any time wet or dry. As the day moved towards midday, the temp soared and we were struggling to hold tools. We had to drop the bolts and plates as we undid them, and left them there. We will return in the morning to pick them up when they are cooler.
This is the second day where the rain clouds come in at around 2pm and everything cools. It halts work - again due to the clay and mud - but we do really welcome it and often stand out in the rain, just enjoying it.
Work will now resume on room 9 - preparing for whomever takes up the accomodation and admin position... yes, they are still looking for a willing couple.
