Today we started dismantling the fallen antenna. Looking at the scope of the job, I fully expected to complete the task in one day. However, I had not accounted for the intense heat. After an hour on site, my head hurt and I knew that the two litres of water I had consumed were not enough. Clothing was drenched almost instantaniously with sweat and that needed to be replaced. Will be buying a larger water bottle for tomorrow!
Whilst tidying the shed, this stick instect latched onto my arm. The kids loved it. I found it a little too creepy. Lex, you are very brave!
According to the weather bureau, we should have storms and rain for the rest of the week. Thankyou Heavenly Father for holding back the rain until we arrived!
Tomorrow will now be machinery maintenance in the shed. Materials are not yet available to make up the parts for the new antennas. Plenty of maintenance work there though. Lots of weird and wonderful machines!!!
